Life is one big test, if you fail one measly section you get yourself back up, dust yourself off, and move on. I passed my kung fu test by the hairs in my chin, or as Sifu said by the skin of my teeth. I am in no way Bruce Lee Jennifer Lee but I am trying my best and plan on continuing to try my best. I am happy with my performance and happy that I passed but what it all really means is that I have even more hard work ahead of me. Kung fu never really gets easier; kung fu stands for hard work. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. True words direct quote from Sifu Faarooq. After my training at the Princeton review, I have decided that I will make more money and feel more rewarded by providing my own tutoring service to students studying for the ACT and or any biology related courses. Through this opportunity I will gain not only education experience but also see students improve their scores and grades and become more confident in my teaching/tutoring abilities. Though one door closes, another one opens. In other news, I am still looking for a new full time job that would reflect my interests and my recently earned master’s degree in biology. I am interested in biology education but am not limiting myself to just that. I’ve also been applying to biologist and scientist jobs. Anything related to biology and doesn’t require a Ph D. 🙂 After all of this wonderful insight, I will leave you with this; sometimes you have to look back in order to move forward.
